The Troy Planning Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed until 6 p.m. next Thursday, Aug. 17.
The last-minute change was made because several board members are on vacation.

Diamond Ridge on Thursday city agenda
The City of Troy Planning Board has put the Diamond Ridge expansion project on its agenda for the 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, meeting at City Hall.
Because this comes under "old business," it should be discussed early in the session, a welcome change for those of us who have fidgeted through seemingly endless meetings in the past.
Here's how the project is described on the agenda:
PB2006-010 - Preliminary Review of a proposal to construct 17 two-family apartment buildings for senior living. Project location is Harris Road. Applicant is Omni Housing Development, 40 Beaver Street, Albany NY 12207.
